I wanted to tell you how wonderful the ice sculpture was and send you a picture or two. When it came in it was so dramatic as the parents helping set up waited and watched for the covering to be removed. When it appeared everyone gasped by how spectacular it was and started taking pictures like movie stars at a premier. During the evening I had many students remark on how impressive it was! At the prom and during this week I have had so many students stop me and tell me they felt it was the most special part of the prom! Please thank the Chef who carved it. As an art teacher who has subtractive sculpted other medium, I was especially taken back by the details and beauty of this horse! Please thank the crew that delivered it safely to our Prom. Thank you so much for all of your help! It really was something and made our Keeneland Prom even more special!
